Kevin Brunner founded Q-Financial in 2004 (Formerly Brunner Financial). It was founded under the imperative idea of fighting back against corrupt and dishonest broker-dealers and "tax experts" who charge high fees for sub-par results. After witnessing families lose everything from bogus financial services, Kevin went out on his own, creating Q-financial. Following writing a published and reviewed white paper about the Model Q Strategy™, Kevin was dedicated to streamlining the process and making it more available to the public.
Kevin picked up Nathan and Trevor originally for marketing and branding assistance, which eventually led to full-time positions at Q-Financial because of their work ethic and dedication. With previous experience in insurance and sales, Nathan and Trevor have quickly caught on to the financial sector. Now, Kevin mentors the hardworking duo to eventually succeed him in Q-financial.

Steve was born and raised in Northern California, where all of his education took place within the Seventh Day Adventist school system, from first grade through college. He graduated with a BA in Religion and a minor in Spanish, originally considering a career in secondary education, possibly at a boarding school. However, during his time at Monterey Bay Academy near Santa Cruz, Steve gained some exposure to construction through a work/study program, and as fate would have it, he gravitated toward a more physical career.
One of his desires is to help the younger generation become better prepared financially than he had been, recognizing that society often doesn't emphasize financial planning early in life.
